At the event, William Curtis and reputed architect Rahul Mehrotra made presentations on the topic that addressed the important approach to city planning. One of the many highlights of the event was the invigorating dialogue between Curtis and Mehrotra, moderated by Prof Brillembourg, chair of Architecture and Urban Design at the Swiss Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland. As India is intensely debating on the concept of smart cities, the dialogue attempted to suggest a balanced and rationalized approach to the whole process of development of the future smart habitat. The panelists also provided contemporary solutions keeping the historic context in mind. After the dialogue, there was a brainstorming question and answer session that generated interest amongst the audience with informative ideas.

All in all, the event turned out to be an intellectually charged meet with an august gathering of more than 250 people comprising reputed architects of the city, other professionals/ academicians, students of architecture and architecture lovers.
